How to Apply Supergrip Grip Tape on X2F Mouse

Quick answer

Clean your X2F mouse surface, peel the backing from the Supergrip Grip Tape, align and press it firmly, then smooth out any bubbles for a secure fit.

Step-by-step installation

1. 1. Clean the mouse surface: Wipe the X2F shell with a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove oils and dust. Let it dry completely. Skipping cleaning can cause the tape to peel off early.
2. 2. Peel the backing carefully: Start at one corner of the Supergrip Grip Tape and slowly peel the protective backing away. Avoid touching the adhesive side. Touching the adhesive reduces stickiness.
3. 3. Align the tape on the mouse: Position the tape over the X2F's grip area. Press down from the center outward to push out air bubbles. Misalignment is hard to fix once the tape sticks—double-check before pressing.
4. 4. Smooth and secure the edges: Use a soft cloth or your finger to rub the tape edges firmly. Apply gentle heat with a hairdryer on low if edges lift. Edges that lift will catch on your hand and may peel off over time.
